Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today met the military hierarchies and discussed the about recent incident where the Eastern Chief Minister Nazer Ahamed rebuked a Navy officer at an event in Sampur, Trincomalee.
Accordingly, the Premier is to discuss the matter with President Maithripala Sirisena soon after he returns to the island.

What's there to discuss? The CM needs to be reprimanded and he must publicly and personally apologize to the Navy Officer. The SLMC should initiate deciplinary action against the CM. No inquiry or further discussions required. The evidence is very clear.
