Over 9,500 affected, four dead due to inclement weather

Colombo, Oct. 23 (Daily Mirror) - A total of 9,542 people from 2,395 families across 12 districts have been affected by adverse weather conditions, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.

According to the DMC’s situation report, 422 houses have been partially damaged, while 30 people have been relocated to safer areas.

Meanwhile, four deaths have been reported due to weather-related incidents.
