No decision yet to extend ongoing curfew

No decision has been taken yet to extend the ongoing island-wide curfew beyond 6 am tomorrow, Senior Police Spokesman Ajith Rohana said.

The government imposed an islandwide curfew from 6pm yesterday to Monday morning 6 am.

Senior DIG Ajith Rohana said that the curfew will be lifted tomorrow morning as announced.

Meanwhile, several protests are being carried out in various parts of the country this evening despite the curfew.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
