No NICs issued tomorrow

The Department of Registration of Persons (DRP) today said that all public services, including the one-day service for issuing National Identity Cards (NICs) will be suspended tomorrow, DRP Commissioner General Vianni Gunathilaka said.

He requested all applicants who reserved dates and times for the one-day service to call over at the department on any working day.

All services were suspended due to the nationwide hartal tomorrow. (Chatruanaga Samarawickrama)
