Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenna was appointed as the 24th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday.
Vice Admiral Ulugetenna is a past pupil of Royal College, Colombo and joined the Sri Lanka Navy as a cadet officer in 1985.
