Colombo, Nov. 12 (Daily Mirror) - A new political movement named Bahujana Balaya (People’s Power) was launched on Tuesday with the aim of uniting young leaders from across the political spectrum to promote citizen-centered governance.

At its inaugural media briefing held in Battaramulla, organizers said the movement seeks to raise public awareness of what they described as the “short-sighted and misguided actions” of the current National People’s Power (NPP) government.

They added that Bahujana Balaya will also put forward practical and sustainable solutions to address key national challenges.

I doubt that any new party that is newly formed with political aspirations could be entirely and blindly endorsed.

Too many political parties to ruin the country? Public are now more than aware of the current political developments and the national challenges. The youth only need to work and consolidate their future and not involve in this misleading new political parties. Only UNP and SJB need a awareness and someone to unite these old obsolete politicians. SLPP members needs to made aware of the dangers of hiding drugs and ice.
