Colombo, Feb. 3 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organizer and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today to provide a statement in connection with ongoing investigations into “Kehelbaddara Padme,” a suspected member of an organized crime syndicate.

Police sources said the statement is being recorded as part of inquiries related to the activities and associations of the individual, who is believed to be linked to several criminal operations.

when summoned to CID does one need hefty bodyguards and idlers as support karayas as a show of strength purely for cheap political publicity only the support karayas were not allowed into the CID The CID should apply some discipline in crowd behaviour outside their premises Even in court premises one observes stragglers mooching around
