Colombo, May 3 (Daily Mirror) - Due to the Local Government (LG) elections scheduled for May 6, the one-day services, including other social services offered by the Department for Registration of Persons, will not be available for two days.

Accordingly, the issuing of National Identity Cards (NICs) will be suspended on May 6 and 7, including at the main office in Battaramulla and all branch offices across the country.
