IOC provides 40,000MT of fuel to SL

Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka today handed 40,000MT fuel shipment from Indian Oil Company (IOC) to Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila.

The Indian High Commision in Colombo tweeted that the Indo-Sri Lanka Cooperation was working for Energy Security in Sri Lanka.

Earlier, the Energy Ministry had held discussions with India’s State-Owned IOC to procure 40,000MT of diesel and 40,000MT of petrol.

The Cabinet has also given a green-light to the proposal to purchase fuel from IOC.
