Colombo, Oct. 29 (Daily Mirror) - The government may be planning to introduce a Russian or Chinese type system of governance, opposition MP Sujith Sanjaya Perera said today.

"We are seeing the government planning to introduce a new political system which is similar to the ones in Russia or China. We don't know what time the change will come," the MP told a media briefing.

If these opposition MPs did anything useful, the country will move ahead at a much faster pace. Instead all we hear from them is complaints. Yet they rarely, if ever come up with any better alternatives. It us, people, who voted are to be blamed for voting these people into these positions. They enjoy a salary and and benefits paid by the people and the people get nothing in return. Atleast at the next election, we should elect people who care about sri lanka and who will do good for the country regardless of being in power or opposition.
