Colombo, March 26 (Daily Mirror) - The United Lanka Fuel Transport Bowser Owners Association (ULFTBOA) has decided to operate only a limited number of bowsers to transport fuel from tomorrow, the association announced.
ULFTBOA President Susantha Jayawardana told the media that the association had decided to keep only a limited number of fuel bowsers in operation, while withdrawing the rest from service.
He said the decision would come into effect from tomorrow morning and was taken in protest against the current management for allegedly distorting the pricing formula that had been in operation since September 2025.
Jayawardana further said that the association resorted to this action due to the failure of the authorities to provide a response to their concerns despite repeated requests.
