Former football star David Beckham awarded knighthood

David Beckham has received a knighthood from King Charles at Windsor Castle today.

The former England captain marked the occasion in a bespoke morning suit created by his wife, Victoria Beckham.

The 50-year-old football icon has been recognised for his contributions to sport and charitable work during the investiture ceremony.

Victoria, 51, who received her OBE in 2017, attended the ceremony alongside Beckham's mother, Sandra and father Ted.

Beckham's parents, accompanying him to Windsor, marked their first attendance at such a royal ceremony.

When the footballer received his OBE in 2003, he chose instead to bring his maternal grandparents Joe and Peggy, both of whom have since died.

Sandra Beckham will honour the family business by wearing a dress from her daughter-in-law's fashion label.

Ted Beckham, who separated from Sandra in 2002 following 33 years of marriage, will also be present for his son's investiture.

"David's mum and dad didn't go before," the family friend explained, noting how the footballer had specifically selected his grandparents for the previous honour, "as he knew just how much it would mean to them."

Beckam is a working class guy who left school at 16. He voice sounds like a female and most part of his body is tattooed. And he never won the world cup for Britain nor he is anywhere close to Messi or any others in football talent. Yet British news papers built him up with frequent good coverage and it led to whole country believing him to be a " strong man with class". This is why we have to believe in astrology , it is the destiny that determines your life , it has nothing to do with class, education , beauty ,or intelligence.
