Former State Minister Pandu Bandaranayake arrested

Former State Minister Pandu Bandaranayake was arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) today in Ampara while attempting to sell three ivory pearls for Rs.10 million.

The STF made the arrest upon a tip off. A pistol and a rare stone were also recovered from his possession. |Along with him, three other persons were also arrested. (Chandana Liyanarachchi)
