Former Minister and Kalutara Distrcrct MP Indradasa Hettiarachchi has passed away at the age of 99.

He was one of the oldest living politicians in the country.

He is a distinguished politician regardless of his party politics he rendered a valuable service for the people living in Kaluthara district . The gentleman hailed from a prominent family background from Horana held some portfolios during the UNP regime He is exemplary to the present politicians. He may attain the supreme bliss of nibbana

In the midst of the “76 year old curse” that is being bandied around now, it is heartening to see that some of us still remember that there were Distinguished Gentlemen who rendered Valuable service to the country in the Parliament. RIP Mr. Hettiarachchi.
