Five PTA detainees released
Five suspected LTTE carders arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) were released by the Additional Colombo Magistrate today on the instructions of the Attorney Generals Department.
The five suspects who were detained for allegedly engaging in terrorist activities were released by Magistrate Aruni Artigala today.
Four of the suspects were released on bail earlier while the other who was in remand was released today.
Another fifteen detainees were further remanded until March 9.(Shehan Chamika Silva)
