Fair weather will prevail over sea areas

Colombo, February 4 (Daily Mirror) - Fair weather conditions will prevail over the sea areas around the island, the Meteorology Department said.

Winds will be north-easterly with speeds of up to 30 km/h. However, wind speeds may increase to 50 km/h at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.

These sea areas will be fairly rough at times.
