Enjoining Order preventing Nursing Trade Union from carrying out strike extended till Feb.28
The Colombo District Court today further extended its enjoining order preventing Government Nursing Officers' Association from carrying out trade union activities causing hardships to the patients.
This enjoining order will be effective until February 28.
Colombo Additional District Judge Chandani Dias made this order after a request made by Attorney General's Department informing that the prevailing trade union action has caused severe hardships to the patients who arrived at government hospitals.
This enjoining order waa issued against Government Nursing Officers' Association and its President Saman Rathnapriya. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
