The number of cases in relation to election law violation was at 3,040 as of today with 114 cases being reported from Sunday (12) to yesterday (13), the National Elections Commission said.
It said 730 violent activities had been reported to the National Election Complaint Management Centre while 2,310 complaints had been reported to District Election Complaint Management Centres.
The Commission established a National Election Complaints Center to receive complaints regarding promotions or demotions of any party/ group/ candidate or any action causing hindrance to the conduct of free and fair election during the election period, the National Election Commission said.
The center was established in the Second Floor of the Election Secretariat, Rajagiriy.
The complaints regarding violation of election laws may also be forwarded to the following telephone numbers.

Don’t worry EC will not do nothing but helping one party to win. EC is not person to trust by Sri Lanka people. This not going to be a election but a robbery.
