Diana Gamage complains against nuisance caller who uploaded audio clip

State Minister Diana Gamage in a letter addressed to the head of the Police Cyber Crimes Division has requested the removal of an audio clip which is being virally circulated on social media.

The audio clip is alleged to be that of the State Minister scolding a person in filth.

The State Minister however claimed that a certain person has been giving her nuisance calls repeatedly. He had also sent her SMSs. Her security officers have requested the person to leave her alone. However, the caller had used abusive language on them as well.

The State Minister has requested the head of the Cyber Crimes to remove the audio clip from social media.
