Central expressway sections to open in 2027 and 2028: RDA
Colombo, April 21 (Daily Mirror) - The Road Development Authority (RDA) has announced that key sections of the Central Expressway are scheduled to be opened in phases over the coming years.
RDA Director General Anuradha Hettiarachchi said the stretch from Pothuhera to Rambukkana is expected to be opened by the end of March 2027.
He further said that the section between Kadawatha and Meerigama is scheduled to be opened by the end of 2028, marking another major milestone in the country’s expressway development programme.
