Cabinet nod for supplying essential consumer goods to market without shortage
The cabinet ministers have approved the measures taken by the President to ensure essential consumer goods are supplied to the market without shortage.
The President had appointed a committee comprising the Finance Minister, Trade Minister, Agriculture Minister, Ports and Shipping Minister, Co-operative Services, Marketing Development and Consumer Protection State Minister, Ornamental Fish, Inland Fish and Prawn Farming, Fishery Harbour Development, Multi-day Fishing and Fish Exports State Minister, and Livestock, Farm Promotion and Dairy and poultry farming State Minister.
