Cabinet green light for extra vehicle for MPs

The Cabinet has approved a proposal submitted by the Media and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry to provide an extra vehicle to MPs apart from the vehicle which would be given on permits entitled to them, Minister Gayantha Karunathilake said.

He said the extra vehicle would be given to use for development projects of the Government and that the maintenance expenditure of such vehicles should be borne by the MPs. (Dayasili Liyanage)
