The results of last year GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examination will be released in April, Education Minister G.L. Pieris said.
While participating in an inspection tour of Maliyadeva Model College, Kurunegala on how the examination centres are prepared for the GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination he said, steps will be taken to reduce the gap of one and-a-half years in granting admission to universities to those who pass the A/L exam.
All arrangements will be made to admit students entering universities in September as per the A/L results, which are expected to be released in April, the Minister added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
