The remaining subjects of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (A/L) Examination, which were postponed due to Cyclone Ditwah, will resume from today (12), the Examinations Department announced.
The examinations will be conducted at 2,086 examination centres across the island, with the support of 325 coordination centres and 32 regional centres to ensure smooth operations.
According to the revised timetable, the examinations will continue from today (12) until the January 20.
Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari urged all candidates to arrive at their respective examination centres at least one hour before the scheduled start time to avoid any delays.
She also said special arrangements have been made for candidates who may have lost their identity documents due to the recent disaster situation, allowing them to sit for the examination without being disadvantaged.
