This figure will exponentially burgeon once the accused are released on sureties. Such a superficial gesture is utterly inconsequential against the colossal machinery of the narcotics trade.

Now the next issue is how to keep them in custody with our Prisons overflowing. Government must look at building a few more Prisons with the fines collected from these cases. I guess even the bail money can be invested in building Prisons as the return of that money comes only after a few years when the cases are completed

Nabbing these small timers is not the solution although all attempts are welcome. The dealers and all big fish behind these narcotic mafias should be exposed and brought to justice.

Glad that ordinary ciitzens have been empowered to report drug related criminal activities. However, all these are very small fry, while big dealers are evading the net. Also, how to deal with all those arrested; nowhere to keep them locked up, not enough courts to process them quickly, and if released on bail they will just resume their illegal activities and be a threat to those that reported them. I do hope that the government has a plan to address this situation.
