21 injured in wasp attack

At least twenty-one people in a group of tea-pluckers were attacked by a swarm of wasps in an estate in the Norwood area in Nuwara Eliya this morning.

Fourteen were admitted to the Dik Oya hospital for treatments. Police said the wasps attacked after the eagles attacked to the wasp's nest.
