Sri Lanka's national cricketers wore black arm bands for the third ODI against Afghanistan to pay tribute to the late Trevor Rajaratnam, the former Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) administrator.

Rajaratnam, who was a former Vice President of SLC, also served as Treasurer.

"Sri Lanka’s cricket fraternity remains indebted to him for the valuable services he rendered for the game in the country," SLC said in a media statement.

"We wish to express our condolences to Trevor’s family, friends, and relatives at this moment of sadness," the statement also read.

The Sri Lankan Test Team is at the bottom of the International Test Championship Table. Sri Lanka will not be invited to the ODI and T20 Championships but has to go through qualifying rounds to be considered for those Championships. SLC is managed by a corrupt team of Executives. Sri Lankan cricketers MUST wear Black Arm Bands at every game.

BLACK BANDS SHOULD BE WORN BY THE PLAYERS IN EVERY MATCH TO PROTEST AGAINST THE CORRUPT OFFICIALS STILL OCCUPYING THE POSITIONS IN THE SLC IN SPITE OF SO MANY ALLEGATIONS.
