Large block sales of J.L. Morison Son & Jones (Ceylon) PLC (MORI) have taken place in the Colombo Stock Exchange a while ago.

One such block amounted to 1,381,280 shares (24%) and traded at Rs.366.50 per share.

Smythe & Vickers (Private) Ltd, the single largest shareholder of MORI had the identical number of shares as at December 31, 2012.

There has been wide market speculation that Hemas PLC has entered into a share purchase agreement with owners of MORI to purchase the controlling stake.
