Former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara’s centuries at Lords, will be part of the Lord’s Father Time Wall that will celebrate the 100 greatest milestones at the grounds.

"In terms of Sri Lankan achievements, Kumar Sangakkara scoring Test and One-Day International centuries at Lord's within a fortnight (2014) is included", Adam Matthews, the Media and Communications Officer at the MCC informs in an email.

"In the coming months we have plans to develop the content behind the milestones. The final 11 milestones will be announced from 20 February to 2 March on the Club’s social channels", Mathews added.

Sangakkara scored 112 against England in an ODI on May 30 2014, before scoring a Test century, of 147, two weeks later on the third day of the first Test.

Sangakkara delivered the MCC Spirit of Cricket Lecture at Lord’s in 2011, before ringing the five-minute bell five years later when Sri Lanka toured England again.

After remaining an active member of the MCC, he was chosen as the club’s first non-British President in 2019.

The Lord’s Father Time Wall is an installation that is to be erected at the St. John’s Wood Ground that will recognise 100 of the greatest milestones ever to take place at the hallowed ‘Home of Cricket'.
