A fine knock of 72 by Isiwara Dissanayake paved the way for Royal College, Colombo to record an easy 54 runs win over De Mazenod College, Kandana in the Under 19 Division One limited over tournament encounter played at Kandana yesterday.
Richmond College and St. Joseph Vaz Wennappuwa secured wins against Nalanda College and Maris Stella College in two other matches of the same tournament played at Galle and Panagoda.

At Kandana – Royal won by 54 runs
Royal Colombo: 227 for 8 in 50 overs (Isiwara Dissanayake 72, Kavindu Pathirathna 43, Senash Fernando 3/44, Pramod Rajamunindra 2/33, Chanuka Silva 2/42)
De Mazenod: 173 for 8 in 50 overs (Ruven Fonseka 57, Chanuka Silva 31 n.o., Kavindu Pathirathna 3/19, Sadisha Rajapakse 2/17, Gishan Balasooriya 2/27)
At Galle – Richmond won by three wickets
Nalanda: 181 in 48.3 overs (Vinuja Ranpul 63, Nalaka Jayawardena 3/28, Kalpa Methsara 2/18, Tharinda Nirmal 2/26)
Richmond: 185 for 7 in 43.4 overs (Hansamana de Silva 42, Amshi de Silva 65 n.o., Lisura Sigera 3/19)
At Panagoda – St. Joseph Vaz won by eight wickets
Maris Stella: 157 in 47.5 overs (Chemindu Weerawansa 75, Achintha Deshan 4/23, Menusha Perera 2/26, Kaushan Wijeratne 2/36)
