The coaching camp for Matara District novice volleyball coaches organised by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVBF) will be held on January 30 and 31 at Kotawila Sports Complex in Matara.

Held under the auspices of the Matara District Volleyball Association and Sri Lanka Volleyball Coaches Association, it is being sponsored by Ceylon Biscuits Ltd (Munchee). About 70 novice coaches from the Matara District will be attending this course.  It will be conducted by 10 national level volleyball coaches, according to SLVBF Secretary A.S. Nalaka. The objective is to identify and select talented coaches from each district. The SLVBF hopes to conduct coaching seminars in every district.
