DSI Footcandy secures the Best E-Commerce Website

The e-commerce platform of the D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, DSI Footcandy ( secured the Silver Award for the Best E-Commerce Website at the awards held by LK Domain Registry, on August 8.

The award was accepted by the Senior Manager - Marketing of D. Samson and Sons (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Duvindra Corea, the Executive – E-Commerce of D. Samson and Sons (PVT) Ltd, Mr. Pasan Ariyadasa and the Executive -Brands of D. Samson and Sons (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Lasitha De Silva, on behalf of the company.

DSI Footcandy serves as the only e-marketing platform in the country, which was built exclusively for the purpose of trading footwear. The platform was re-launched by D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, the main marketing and distribution arm of the DSI Samson Group in April this year. The upgraded platform boasts a range of new features to optimize the customers’ shopping experience, by providing them with the opportunity to own footwear of the latest style, with the minimum number of clicks. The platform is easily accessible to all, via both mobile phones and computers.

DSI Footcandy provides the customers with hassle-free access to the latest trends in Ladies, Gents and Children's footwear from a range of local and international brands through the online order placement facility and an island-wide delivery system. The delivery will be provided free of charge within Colombo 1 – 15, and will extend to other areas for purchases above Rs. 2000. The customer has the option of making the payment online or paying cash on delivery. If there is an issue with the size of the footwear purchased, customers can simply step into any DSI showroom of the island wide branch network to exchange the items.
