The red comrades are said to be in constant touch with the General and the other big poll candidate, who promised to settle the country’s foreign debt, in a bid to get them to withdraw from the race in support of the Red Prince.

In fact, the red comrades had already held several rounds of talks with the General and the businessman-turned politico intending to form a joint platform and had failed to reach an agreement so far. 

At the latest dinner-meeting, both the General and the businessman-turned Number One aspirant had told the red comrades that they had no idea of withdrawing from the race, they say.
