Land Rover is proud to present the Slipping Chairs at the Spring/Summer 2015 edition of HSBC Colombo Fashion Week, which is set to take place from March 8- 14 2015 at the Hilton Colombo. The popular acoustic band will be performing exclusively at the Land Rover stand, throughout the duration of the HSBC CFW Show.

The Slipping Chairs feature four up-and-coming musicians: Dylon Manuel – Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist, Joel Mc Shane – Bass Guitarist, Jith Sirimanne – Percussionist and Zion De Silva – Lead Guitarist.  The Slipping Chairs will perform an eclectic mix on songs from a variety of genres ranging from RnB to Rock.

Land Rover has partnered with HSBC Colombo Fashion Week for the fourth consecutive year. For this year’s show, Land Rover has also partnered with luxury lifestyle group Quintessentially Lifestyle to provide invitees with a range of concierge services at the exclusive Land Rover stand.  The Slipping Chairs will also help to further enhance the atmosphere at the stand, by performing a diverse array of popular songs as well as original tracks throughout the show.
Commenting on the collaboration, Chandima Gooneratne, Marketing Manager, SML Frontier Automotive stated, “We are proud to feature the Slipping Chairs at the Land Rover stand, at this year’s HSBC CFW Show. Land Rover is a loyal supporter of the show, as it embodies luxury, style, innovation and iconic design – values which are also an integral part of our brand. The Slipping Chairs are an extremely talented band and we look forward to featuring them at our stand this year.”

Land Rover’s well-considered partnerships and events resonate with consumers who regard the brand as a beacon of adventure and discovery that extends beyond all boundaries. Land Rover is a leading British automotive brand that is designed, engineered and manufactured in the United Kingdom. Since 1948, Land Rover has been manufacturing authentic 4x4s that define the “breadth of capability” in various segments.
