Colombo’s favourite watering hole and the neighbourhood fun bar in the heart of the city, In on the Green (IOG) is partnering with the latest radio station to hit local airways Fox914 to bring another unique experience to its patrons. If you're looking for an exciting, fun and potentially rewarding way to spend your Wednesday nights, one must-try option is “The Fox on the Green Trivia Challenge” hosted by one of Colombo’s best-known and most dynamic personalities, Dominic Kellar.

Commencing on the 29th of October the trivia challenge will be held every Wednesday until the 19th of November 2014. Each day will feature ten teams with the objective of emerging the ultimate champions.

Speaking on behalf of the In on the Green, Director of Marketing Communications at Galle Face Hotel Mahika Chandrasena notes, “We want to make the night the most engaging, fun and humorous pub quiz in the city and the Quiz Maestro himself Dominic Kellar will take the lead role in engaging the teams and making it an experience to remember.”

Commenting on the promotion, Channel Head Fox914 Jimmy Deen said, “Fox914 is constantly looking for ways to show our listeners how they can escape their everyday radio xperience and the trivia challenge at In on the Green is a great way to spend time with friends while also learning a thing or two.”

The quizzes are a mix of history, geography, general knowledge, sports, music and quirky facts conveyed through video questions, terrible singing and acting and heads or tails mayhem. The prizes offered include cool getaways for the grand winner, along with dinner nights, drink offers and of course the usually fairly generous free bottles of wine or beer pitchers.

To register, fill out the tear off of e-flier application either on the Galle Face Hotel website, Fox91.4 website, and hand it over to the front office cashier of the GFH with a registration fee of 1,000 rupees before the 26th of October 2014. Ten teams will be chosen through a raffle draw and will compete with each other during the coming weeks, first round on 29th October 2014.
