Litro Gas Donates Blood Pressure Meters to the National Hospital

Litro Gas, the largest national importer and market leader of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Sri Lanka, together with Litro Gas Terminal Lanka recently donated blood pressure meters to the National Hospital in Colombo, as part of its on-going CSR initiatives towards an energetic community.

A very recent study from the country’s Family Health Bureau showed that twenty out of every 100 Sri Lankans suffer from high blood pressure for which consuming of foods contaminated by pesticides and wrong food habits are the main causes. This shows how critical it is for the public to seek consultation, do check-ups and manage these non-communicable diseases routinely.

The 40 blood pressure meters will add great value to both the hospital and its patients at a moment like this.
