A complete report of the Presidential commission appointed to look into the Easter Sunday bombings of churches and hotels on April 21 2019 will be presented to Parliament once it is ready, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya said yesterday. Speaker came out with this statement in response to a question raised by government MP Thushara Indunil in the House last afternoon.

“There was a request that the Presidential commission report be presented to Parliament and we would like to ask as to what had become of it,” Mr. Indunil questioned.

Speaker who responded said he had inquired on it from President’s Secretary and that the latter had informed him that a full and complete report will be sent to Parliament once it is ready.
