The Cabinet approval has been granted to present the final report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) appointed to probe the alleged fraud and corruption in the government institutions during the period between14th January 2015 and 31st December 2018, during the next Parliamentary session.
The final report of the Commission, chaired by retired Supreme Court Judge Upali Abeyrathne, was handed over to the President recently.
The Cabinet of Ministers granted their approval to the proposal submitted by the President for the submission of the said report in Parliament.
