Admission of Grade One students Canadian Envoy attends ceremony in Sabaragamuwa Province

Admission of children to Grade One in government schools in the Sabaragamuwa Province took place with the distinguished participation of Canadian High Commissioner David McKinnon. 
Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa was the chief guest of the ceremony held at Ratnapura Kumara Vidyalaya.   The gathering observed one minute silence in honour of the Late Governor W.J.M.Lokubandara. 

 
Secretary to the Provincial Ministry of Education Rukmani Ariyaratne, Director of Education Sepala Kuruppuarachchi, Zonal Director Shanthini Wijewardene, Coordinating Officer of the Canadian High Commission Indirani Jayawardene, and Principal of Kumara Vidyalaya Piyasiri Pathiranage were present at the occasion.
