Iriweriya (Plectranthus zatarhendi var.) is a plant found in many parts of the country. It is used in the form of an extract as well as an ointment. The plant is also known for its aromatic properties.

Diarrhoea : Dip Iriweriya roots in water and mix the water with bee honey to treat diarrhoea.

 

Medicinal uses :

Iriweriya is used to treat conditions such as diarrhoea and aids hair growth.

The oil extracted from Iriweriya could be used as a hair oil which is aromatic as well as has a cooling effect.
