We will not listen to concerns of ‘mad women’: Lanza
State Minister Nimal Lanza has criticized concerns raised by environmentalists stating that some ‘mad women’ would not make the government alter the original plan of the Central Expressway.
Addressing an event, Lanza said some Rs. 88 billion would have to be spent and some 100’s of trees would have to be cut down if the original plan was altered.
“We will not work as some mad women want. They are partial to some political parties. People want the work on the Central Expressway completed soon.” he said.
