Sri Lankan contracted Covid-19 in Maldives

A Sri Lankan national has contracted with Covid-19 in Maldives, the Maldivian Health Protection Agency (HPA) said.

Six cases of Covid-19, two Maldivians, two Bangladeshis, one Indian and one Sri Lankan national have emerged in the Maldives.

The HPA made the reveal via Twitter on Friday afternoon.

With this, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 116.

Maldives crossed over 100 cases on Thursday and the number has been spiraling since the first case of the community spread was discovered on April 15.
