The Royal college History club has organised an all-island history quiz competition giving the chance to all schools around Sri Lanka to go head-to-head, the only of its kind.

The Competition has been organised for the second time and it will take place as a virtual history quiz competition this year.

A total of 52 teams islandwide will face each other in five rounds throughout September, in order to claim the ultimate crown of history the “Prof. Senarath Paranavithana Memorial Shield”

The first round of the competition will take place today while the second round on September 11 and the Top 10 rounds will be on September 18.

The grand finals and the semifinals will both be held on September 29.

Finals will be broadcast live and one team will be crowned as the best history quizzing team in Sri Lanka.
