UNP leader and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday said he was not involved in preparing files on the conduct of ministers in the former government.
Issuing a special statement, Mr. Wickremesinghe said his staff at Temple Trees were only engaged in preparing documents and files pertaining to the premiership. These he said were documented in a proper manner.
It was reported that some files pertaining to various actions of former ministers were found at Temple Trees after Mr. Wickremesinghe left the place with the change of government. (Yohan Perrera)
