The National Police Commission (NPC) has decided to annul the post of Sri Lanka Police Media Spokesman, a senior police officer told Daily Mirror yesterday.
He said this decision was made during an NPC meeting held yesterday.
During the meeting, the NPC had also decided to appoint SSP Ruwan Gunasekara, who held the police spokesman post prior to the decision, as the Director of Legal Division at the Police Headquarters. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
