No trains until Monday morning: Railways Dept.

The Sri Lanka Railway Department has announced that there will be no passenger trains until 4.00 am on Monday morning following the imposition of countrywide police curfew.

In a special communiqué, the department said that special train services will operate to transport essential goods, fuel and other essential goods during the curfew.

However, the passenger trains - except for the night mail train - will run this evening as per schedule and will reach their destinations at the given times. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
