While refuting social media reports, the Examination Department today said no attempts have been made to privatise it.
The Examinations Department issued a statement with the signature its Commissioner General Sanath B. Pujitha today said that several social media platforms carried the news on March 31 claiming that there was an attempt to privatise the Department.
The statement further said that there was no involvement by any private institute or party to computerise the examination marks system at the Department. All examination marks are computerised and that process is also handled by the staffers attached to the Department's internal office.
Also said the process of digitalising the examination marks are also done by the Department's internal office employees. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
