Jangi Sarath recently said there is no such thing as Lord Shiva or Ravana. How would you guys react if TNA had said your Lord does not exist. Shamelessly holding placards calling TNA racist

Relegion is there to do the right thing. Monday, 26 September 2022 02:32 PM

Another piece of work orchestrated by Rajapakshas to divert the people's attention to spread communal feeling among the majority and ruin the country further more . There are enough religious places which are neglected.

    Ram Monday, 26 September 2022 02:52 PM

Why no arrests? This march too went through high security areas gazetted. It is discrimination when monks are treated with a silver spoon and the youngsters are treated with the gazette spoon

It's being called Kuruthi Mallai, it's in mullativu though, we pray Lord shiva for long, whatt a need of the hour

Ganesh Manickam Monday, 26 September 2022 03:11 PM

These fools are doing this from 1956 and made the Country what it is today. Continue until when we beg for money from Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. Buddhist Monks are doing nothing but enjoy life. Kurundur problem is not about preserving the Archaeological remains but grabbing land from Tamils. We respect and pray to Buddha like the Sinhala Buddhists. DM please publish this.

These Sinhala racists will never change aragalaya or no aragalaya. Time for India to step in to protect the Tamils from these racists, as enshrined in 13th Amendment.

Lol. Here comes the yellow kit jokers back again to build a momentum for horapaksha family. No police attack or anything like that for these rajapaksa yellow kit jokers. These buggers should be chased out of sri lanka.

Timothy Perera Monday, 26 September 2022 03:42 PM

According to Eminent Cardiologist Dr. Upul Wijewardene, Lord Buddha never came to Sri Lanka. What has historians got to say about this.

Intelligent thinker Monday, 26 September 2022 03:52 PM

USA has 51 states in one country in spite of one language, one religion and one culture, United Kingdom has 4 states in spite of one language, culture and religion in one country, India has 28 states in one country. They are all existing well. In Sri Lanka we should have two states in one country. If it is so this demonstration would not have taken place. Poor knowledge, poor education, poor cultural norms, jealousy of a neighbour, insecurity leads to these demonstrations. Until we have two states in one country these types of protest will go on right up to dooms day. When will the people in Sri Lanka realise this fact? No amount of law, suppression, armed forces can prevent the desire of two states in one Sri Lanka. Earlier the better.

Against subsidy for religion Monday, 26 September 2022 05:05 PM

The heritage can wait until poverty is alleviated enough! Those with money can give for this protection. There is not enough to go around to feed the poor. If the public does not want to donate money the government should not give money collected through taxes or sourced through printed money. I see a woman carry a big sized mobile on her shoulder, with it to her ear. She should donate that instead of seeking others money, by pushing for the government to give the limited it has. Give into this and the creditor will pounce as giving for religion means there is no crisis with citizen needing food anymore.

Mama rata yanva Monday, 26 September 2022 05:15 PM

These people are in effect asking money for heritage cake when the public can't get money for rice and bread. They are trying to ride on the backs of the poor to fund for their own emotional comfort. The public must never be swayed by this asking for money for heritage, as then it will be their children who shall suffer malnutrition. Lavishing time on heritage good for the grandly well off, we don't need this 2500 of garbage baggage to keep our country in continuing crisis.

Go home heritage Monday, 26 September 2022 05:22 PM

These well fed people have too much time on their hands. They should be out helping other people not lamenting about archeological sites.

These Sinhala hardcore racists won't rest until chase away all minorities from Sri Lanka. These guys are disgrace to humanity.

    I am patriot Thursday, 29 September 2022 07:58 PM

The TNA is forever rousing the diaspora to attack us at the UN. I only see only MP Sarath W speak against the 13A abomination. Best wishes to him and others who take the time to show about this important matter.
