Former President Maithripala Sirisena said on Sunday that he would attack just like eagles do.
He said this while participating in the launching of the Sri Lanka Podujana Nidahas Sandanaya Polonnaruwa election office.
“Recently when I was taking a walk, I noticed a cormorant catching a fish and started to eat it on top of a rock nearby. No sooner it started to eat; an eagle which hovered in the sky snatched the fish from the cormorant. We will also attack in a similar manner,” he said.

Tough talk from President Sirisena. But hardly becoming of his position.
