The Government’s Policy Statement which was presented in Parliament yesterday by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was passed without a vote today.
Parliament was convened this morning and the Government’s Policy Statement was taken up for debate.

Without a vote means no objections. Voting is done only if there is objection.

If Sri Lankans want to build strong united Sri Lanka, Tamils or Sinhalese or Muslims does not impose their will on each other. Instead, each of these communities respect each others. If any of these communities practice barbaric culture, they should stop these practice if they are considered by international law as a barbaric.
